Student Therapist, MFTi
(She/Her/Hers)

Some days we feel like we're thriving. Others, we're just trying to make it to the end of the day. Maybe the hard days are starting to outnumber the good ones. No matter where you're at, you deserve support — and you deserve to thrive.

I became a therapist because I believe you deserve more than just getting by. Whether you're healing from past trauma, navigating conflict in your relationships, or simply trying to feel more like yourself, therapy is a space where you can safely explore what's holding you back and find your way forward.

My Specialties and Approach

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in relationships. Whether that's the relationship you have with others, with different parts of yourself, or with the story you tell about your life — change becomes possible when we feel truly seen and accepted. You can expect me to show up as someone who is open, affirming, and genuinely curious about who you are. I work with people from all walks of life and all backgrounds, and I'm committed to creating a space where you don't have to leave any part of yourself at the door.

I believe good therapy should be grounded in sound theories, while also tailored to your specific needs. I draw on principles that help you get in touch with your inner world, and identifying past or current experiences that may contribute to harmful thoughts or beliefs about yourself. Identifying your values and becoming better versed in managing your feelings are also important in this process. Learning to deepen connections with loved ones can sometimes require new communication skills. along with training on how to be more vulnerable, open or honest with partners. My approach with couples and families comes from some of the most researched approaches in the field of marriage and family therapy. I welcome clients of all identities, orientations, and relationship structures.

My Education and Experience

I received a Bachelor of Science in Family Life: Human Development from Brigham Young University. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Utah Valley University and provide therapy under clinical supervision from Aislinn Burke. I have worked as a family and student life educator, and staff member at an eating disorder facility prior to putting all my energies as a student therapist.

At home, you can find me working on all sorts of DIY and art projects. I have a passion for plants, music, and photography. When I’m not home, I am most likely on an outdoor adventure with my hubby and our dog.
